Exterior Lighting Guide

All fixtures installed outdoors should be at least damp rated if not wet rated. The space and location will dictate which one is required.

Damp Rated

• Covered outdoor spaces i.e. covered patio/porch
• Cannot be exposed to water, even in a storm

Wet Rated

• Can be exposed to direct precipitation
