Anyone who knows Lorna knows that she loves her grandbabies. That’s why she was the perfect person to pick out her favourite items for kids’ rooms this week for Friday Favs. She’s taking over the blog today to show us her bright, colourful approach to kid’s rooms.
Hi Everyone! As already mentioned, colour is my theme for nurseries and kids’ rooms this month. I’m going to start off with this bold purple reading lamp. It would be great for any little girl’s bedside table or desk. The LED reading lamp is perfect for when Grandma comes to visit to read those bedtime stories. The easy to use rocker switch on the base of the lamp is convenient for little hands. This energy efficient fixture uses a 6 watt LED. There’s no hot halogen lamp here!
Aren’t these pictures the cutest? These adorable puppies are both colourful and unique. The silhouette of each dog is made up of multiple typed words for “dog” in many different languages. The Scottish Terrier in teal blue is titled “throw me a bone” and the hot pink Chihuahua states “life is ruff.” They would work great together or on their own.
Although beautiful, at first glance this ceiling light may seem like a strange choice for a kid’s room. However, this unassuming fixture holds a little secret. It’s fitted with a colour-changing LED light and comes with a remote and can be changed to red, green, or blue at the touch of a button. Which kid wouldn’t want that type of power? As a bonus, we currently have it on clearance at Design Lighting.
Thanks for following along with me this week! Rumour has it that my wonderful co-worker Aman will be picking out her favourites for baby rooms next week, so stay tuned!
